My experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the healthcare system has shaped my practice and approach to this work. I specialize in treating grief and loss, anxiety and depression, medical trauma, caregiver related concerns, end of life issues, and trauma.
I believe it is important to come into this space with curiosity, compassion, and encouragement to provide you with room to build insights, explore, and heal during all seasons of life. I take a trauma-informed and strength-based approach and feel that therapy is a collaborative process between both the client and the therapist.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients reach their fullest potential. I also enjoy parts work and an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed approach. I bring in a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and more.
I believe in a client centered approach to wellness. Having an empathetic and compassionate nature allows me to develop a strong therapeutic relationship to walk alongside you on your path forward.
