Life can be messy and challenging at times. I am here to help you navigate life's hurdles, adjust to the changes in your life and celebrate your gains. My goal is for you to feel accepted and empowered. We will work together to navigate internal and external struggles; identify and organize thoughts and feelings; develop functional ways to cope with things in life that are outside of your control; identify patterns of behaviors; and learn how to manage things that feel unmanageable.
I specialize in working with adults who struggle with navigating the perinatal period / adjustment to motherhood; adjustment to life stressors; trauma; depression; and anxiety. I also have extensive experience working with adults with brain injury; cognitive disabilities; & sensory processing disorder.
I believe in building a therapeutic space that is safe, judgement free, unbiased, person-centered and trauma-informed. I utilize a strength-based approach to treatment, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
