I believe therapy is a collaborative process and strive to create a compassionate, trauma-informed, and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore life’s challenges and build insight at their own pace.
My approach is primarily person-centered and strengths-based, while also incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation.
I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the impact that cultural, societal, and personal experiences can have on mental health. I am also an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and value creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and accepted.
Starting therapy is an intimidating process, especially when you're not used to vulnerability. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are changing therapists, I am so honored to be a part of your healing journey, and look forward to creating a more peaceful life for yourself!
