Sometimes difficulties, trauma, or setbacks that you have experienced in life have taught you to see the world or react to the world in a certain way. I believe that it’s possible to reframe that thinking over time and become a person that is truly healthy and happy. I love to see where people are in their story and help them set goals to get to where they want, become their best self, and find their light.
I have extensive experience in the human service field that has allowed me to become well acquainted with a myriad of struggles and difficulties that all people from every walk of life may go through. I also belong to associations that help me to gain perspective and stay up to date on strategies and techniques that may help those I work with.
I believe in building a relationship of trust, where all people are comfortable exploring the story that is being told in their minds. I work with therapies of CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, EMDR and others that enhance and empower individuals to discover strengths within themselves and have the courage to make changes where they see a need.
