Mental health care is a part of chronic healthcare and asking for help can be the hardest place to start. Mental health is a struggle that we all deal with in our own way, sometimes we need guidance and encouragement. I believe a therapist's role is to support individuals in their efforts to cope and adapt on their own. Through the journey of therapy, I want to be someone who can point out patterns that may be hindering you from reaching your fullest potential.
My strengths and experience include working with individuals, children, adolescents, and their families. Area of improvements may include addressing: medical or chronic health condition, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, irritability and anger, relational issues, peer/relational issues and increasing coping skills.
My special interest includes supporting individuals and their families who are struggling to cope with a medical diagnosis and/or chronic health condition.
