I have now been in the field for almost 6 years working with many ages and populations. I have experience with adolescents, substance use disorders, domestic violence, and helping individuals cope with an array of mental health diagnosis. I enjoy working with teens and young adults to help them cope with many life transitions, as well as empowering females to increase self-esteem. I enjoy working to help clients through difficult transitions to improve their mental health and quality of life. I believe that everyone needs support and should receive quality care.
I work on meeting individual needs of each client, and offering what skills I feel will help you the best. I offer a supportive and empathetic ear in a nonjudgmental space, while also offering concrete tools to help you on a day-to-day basis. I will also offer education to better understand mental health, as well as a safe space to process.
I feel no one should battle their mental health alone, and building a positive therapeutic relationship is the beginning of the battle. Working on your mental health with a professional and learning coping tools helps you to gain back control and feel empowered to combat your mental health. I will help those who may not know where to start on their journey.
