My philosophy of therapy is encapsulated in the phrase, “To see, to be seen, and to be met.” I work with clients looking to feel better understood by others, and to better understand themselves. Together, we will address your specific issues – and because so many feeling-states such as anxiety and depression are as much felt in the body as in the mind, I like to include the interconnection between body, mind and spirit. A goal of my work to always to expand your sense of flow and connectedness.
I am certified in the trauma-informed, somatic modality Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which taps into the power of mindfulness and present moment experience to help shift old patterns. My second Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the USM, assists in welcoming your individual relationship to spirituality. I also have a certification in Couples/Sex Therapy.
Taking the first step can sometimes be daunting. I offer a free 20 minute consultation call to answer any questions you may have, and to allow unpressured time to explore whether we would be a good fit. I very much look forward to meeting you.
