I am particularly interested in the intersection of sexuality and emotional intimacy. Some of my clients struggle to love well; others struggle with sex. But all of my clients, perhaps all humans, juggle the sometimes contradictory demands of love and sex. They want to feel safe and loved, but they also want the thrill of adventure. They want to feel known, but they are also intrigued by mystery. They want to feel attached, but they are also turned on by novelty. I enjoy helping individuals and couples explore their potential to find deeper emotional connection and greater sexual freedom.
I am a psychoanalytically oriented therapist and doctoral student at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. I have a special interest in working with people suffering from anger, shame, feelings of hatred and guilt. I specialize in men's issues, complex trauma, family therapy, personality disorders and schizophrenia.
I look forward to assisting your journey and deepening our connection over time! I respond to all inquiries and offer a free, 15-minute phone, consultation to ensure we will be a good fit.
