I specialize in working with adolescents but also had a long stint working with geriatric patients alongside a well-respected neuropsychiatrist in Texas. I've worked with substance addiction as a specialty in three states and have a long history of helping patients with childhood trauma. I have a general practice and work with issues such as anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA-related, and shame/low self-worth. My ideal client wants to change and is not afraid of doing a little homework between sessions.
I have an integrated approach that focuses mainly on the therapeutic relationship but also use multiple therapeutic approaches ranging from cognitive behavioral therapy to psychodynamic work. My work is time-tested, and I have had many successful outcomes. Multi-cultural sensitivity is very important to me. I work with couples, families. and individuals.
