I've been a therapist for a little over 10 years. I've done intensive in-home family therapy, group induvial and family therapy in a pediatric mental hospital where I was an assistant unit director and provided supervision to other therapists. In the past I taught anger management classes to kids, taught divorce classes to divorcing parents, and relationship classes to single and married people in the past. Online I've worked with kids as well as done a fair amount of couples counseling.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy but am certified in TF-CBT I enjoy a variety of types of music, enjoy writing poetry and published my own book of poetry in the past. I have no problem engaging in faith-based counseling but also welcome anyone who has the desire to work and grow.
Since then I've advanced my license to be independently licensed and then gained a supervisor's designation. I've taken all the classes I need to and am also receiving supervision to be licensed as a drug and alcohol therapist as well.
