I instead seek to help you understand what's happening in your heart, so you can explore your inner world and respond out of a place of self-awareness and growth.
I seek to build on existing strengths in individuals and relationships, so that clients can be affirmed in what is working and move forward into greater health. My work is based in an understanding that complex family systems deeply shape us, but don't have to define our outcomes.
I believe that our deepest drives to 1) connect with others 2) protect ourselves, often conflict and drive us to behave in ways that surprise us. I believe that we are formed deeply by the stories we tell ourselves and that there can be great healing in rewriting those stories.
