I believe it is the relationship in therapy that is truly healing. Honesty, compassion and sometimes a sense of humor can be powerful medicine. I enjoy working with people who are truly ready to make some changes in their life, even if they're terrified to do so.
I often use a technique called Heart Assisted Therapy, which treats conditions such as panic, PTSD, and phobias. I'm always amazed at the elegance and effectiveness of this tool for all kinds of psychological conditions.
In our culture, I think it's easy to forget how to feel really alive. My goal is to help my clients work through their problems and be more present in life.
