About
Dr Bobbie Schorr is a licensed MFT. Bobbie specializes in working with both civilian & military families with extensive experience helping individuals, children, couples and families manage the trials of civilian/military life, including but not limited to deployment and relocation. Bobbie has experience with adolescents in residential treatment, combat veterans with PTSD, adults/children struggling with substance issues, and in hospice dealing with grief and loss. Bobbie acts as a coach through difficult life experiences. Bobbie's approach is helping to instill hope and motivation in order to become unstuck and rebuild self esteem.
Bobbie can provide individual, couples or family counseling with issues that include but are not limited to grief/loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, adjustments/life transitions, individual, family and relational issues. Bobbie takes a solution focused approach to help focus on strengths and goals of the individuals involved in treatment.
Bobbie specializes in working with couples under the Gottman method. The goal is to help couples improve their dysfunctional interactional patterns by focusing on relationship repair, building emotional safety, trust, bonding, love, intimacy, friendship and communication.
