About
Are you having difficulty communicating with a family member or loved one? Are you feeling the worry and stress of every day life may be getting in the way of your personal wellbeing? I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a specialty in providing therapeutic services to at risk youth and their families. My work with families extends to couples counseling and helping youth and young adults battling suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation and self-injurious behaviors. I have had the honor of facilitating positive change by using my warmth, compassion, and non-judgmental stance.
I firmly believe in the importance of finding the strength and ability to achieve in everyone. I believe it is essential to develop a genuine therapeutic relationship which establishes trust to begin healing. I am a strong advocate of self-care which I believe is essential to the healing process.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, mood disorders, substance abuse and self-harming behaviors. I am also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
