Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and codependence are some of the different challenges that I can assist you with. Are you also carrying the hidden pain and grief over huge losses such as miscarriage (this goes for fathers too) divorce, a family member's terminal illness, even the loss of a pet? You should know we all grieve differently. I can help by validating your pain and empowering you with coping skills that will ease the effects of your loss. I provide therapy for individuals and families. At this time Couples therapy is not available as I want to focus on helping folks at an individual level.
When it comes to trauma, do you ever feel like you will never be able to overcome the triggers, flashbacks, and/or fears? Trauma can come anywhere from battle to a dog's bite, in reality, trauma symptoms can come any time you have experienced an event where you lost control and you keep reliving it. My training in EMDR can help you.
