Empowered Wellness Counseling Services is a practice focused on the client's needs for symptom reduction by creating a safe space conducive to building trust and begin to process through symptoms caused by depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health issues. Empowered Wellness Counseling Services also provides counseling for clients searching for support in perinatal mental health counseling-Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), grief and loss, and/or support for before, during and/or after pregnancy for both partners.
I believe in creating safe and validating environment to work through current symptoms and ultimately working on resolution. I work with each client developing an individual plan that focuses on goals, symptom reduction, and ongoing support. I have a passion for Perinatal Mental Health and work with clients at any stage of gestation or for grief/loss.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who has worked with trauma and loss for over 9 years. I received my MA from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am able to use a variety of therapeutic styles and techniques by providing empathy, compassion, and sometimes humor to help lead clients through growth and processing.
