My role as a therapist is to create a safe environment for individuals to compassionately explore their journeys and assist them in reaching their full potential. I believe the true value of psychotherapy is gaining insight into ones core self and truly accepting every part of us that makes us so unique. I support the notion that we don't need to be "broken" to need healing, yet we may simply desire the evolution of self.
My theoretical orientation is individualized, with a foundation of client-centeredness, and strength-based psychology. I utilize an integrated approach of psychodynamic therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy with the idea that by assisting my patients understand their thought patterns, they can better navigate the world, and ultimately achieve happiness.
