Our process at EYMT is to help clients build more effective and helpful behaviors around new thoughts. Our mission is to provide all clients with the tools, skills and empowerment they need to build their life worth living.

Each therapist takes an individualized approach and arms their clients with the right tools specific to their needs. We offer services for adults and teens, including a comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program. DBT group can also be a great addition to your therapy, please see below for details.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group For Teens

DBT is an evidence-based program that has been proven to help teens: handle their emotions so they are less reactive and impulsive, eliminate self-harm and destructive behaviors, and better navigate their relationships (family, school, peers) by developing communication strategies and positive ways of interacting with others. DBT helps increase focus, improving school performance and building higher self-esteem so teens learn to love and accept themselves. Group therapy allows teens to connect and practice skills with peers in a structured safe space, offering a new perspective and validation from others experiencing similar situations. Parent support is also provided.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group will teach you important skills to help you reach your goals. Learn how to control your emotions and reduce destructive behaviors. By doing so, you can improve self-esteem, productivity and interpersonal relationships. Learning these skills in a group setting allows you to relate to and experience validation from peers who are experiencing similar life situations, emotions, and difficulties. Everyone enters group for their own individual needs and reasons, with a common goal to try their best and work to improve their daily lives. Multiple group options are available.
