Sometimes, all a person needs is to have someone who will listen, validate, and allow them to feel what they are feeling before looking for the solution to the issue. I seek to allow that space in my sessions by bringing in a combination of validation, solution-focused treatments, and meeting you where you are at rather than expecting you to meet me where I'm at. The sessions we have allow flexibility while still giving space for structure and ideas for you to practice and work on things on a personal level.
Trauma is experienced in so many ways and everyone experiences it differently. My mission is to work with those who have gone through - or are currently experiencing - trauma to find healing. Utilizing trauma training helps me meet people where they are at and allows us to move at the pace each individual needs to go.
