I specialize in therapy for children, ranging from preadolescence to young adulthood. We have open and honest conversations, and they are able to express their thoughts and feelings in a comfortable environment. I also enjoy working with couples, as well as adults of all ages dealing with issues, such as depression; anxiety; interpersonal relationship conflict; workplace conflict; relationship boundaries; ADHD; OCD; video game and other electronic-related problems; self-destructive loved ones; and parenting issues.
My overall approach to therapy is from a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) perspective. I treat the individual as a whole, both mind and body, focusing on unhealthy thoughts and behaviors and replacing them with healthy thoughts and behaviors. CBT is also useful in couples counseling and family therapy.
In order to better serve clients, I have one of the lowest fee structures in Southeastern Michigan. Session fees are $100 for individuals and $125 for couples (including premarital and marriage counseling) and families. The first visit (or intake session) costs $125 and $150, respectively.
