It is my job to center you and meet you in your challenges (stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, self criticalness, etc.). I provide support to individuals, partners, and families who are motivated towards greater understandings of their experiences in order to find peace and/or heal connections in their relationship with themselves and others.

Less than 16% of therapists in Texas are male, which may very well be why so many men don’t go to therapy. I specialize in men’s issues including fatherhood, life transitions and stigma. Additionally, families often need support when raising their children. I work with families and children through difficult transitional times, such as grief, school anxiety, college transitions, and family communication.

I work with children, adolescents and adults on a variety of issues. Most of my work is based on the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My therapy plans are goal-oriented, with specific, measurable steps so that you can track progress. I will help you discover the "problem behind the problem" and then we'll work together to formulate solutions. I enjoy collaborating with my patients on many types of issues, but have quite a bit of extra training in working with children with ADHD and their parents, as well as with persons with Asperger's-type autism.
