I am an experienced, insightful, culturally sensitive therapist with 29 years of clinical experience. Together with each client or clients I work to build on strengths and achieve life goals in the most creative way. I view difficulties as opportunities to gain more self awareness allowing a more balanced, happier and a more serene self to emerge.As a certified Imago Relationship Therapist I embrace a unique approach to relate to ones partner and transform ones relationship.
When we feel disconnected as a couple it is painful as our brains are wired for connection. By fostering listening skills, safety, mirroring techniques, validation and empathy, hope and connection are restored. The couple feels a sense of relief to get on with life!
I also do EMDR which stands for Eye movement desensitization reprocessing. Memories especially difficult ones are all connected. By using the techniques I am able to help you remember these memories and diffuse them which affects ones present behavior, thoughts and feelings. It not magic but works like a charm!
