It is not enough to survive in these times, you have to also thrive in it. Working with adults, I support you in symptom-management related to life, school, work, relationship, and social stressors. With youth, I provide early intervention to help them be successful in managing their emotions and behaviors. Alongside them, I support caregivers with tools to help them manage their own stress. With everyone, I like to explore more than just the surface of their stress, thoughts, and behaviors and explore the root causes of it.
My approaches vary from client to client but, I typically use person-centered, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed principles as the basis. Therapy is a collaborative approach where we are both experts, in our own right, to support your wants and needs. It will be more than just rationalizing; it will also be body-based to support the whole you.
Therapy can feel uncomfortable and overwhelming initially, that is why I do my best to meet you where you are. My hope is through our sessions, I create a non-judgemental and safe space for you to feel comfortable with me. Even when there are challenging moments, I hope our work together will keep you coming back.
