Many of us have experienced hardships and suffering in our lives, and sometimes we need help. I believe psychotherapy is a space that can help by providing healing and comfort to those who need it. Many things can contribute to life’s difficulties including historical, systemic, emotional, relational, and interpersonal factors. In therapy, I am interested in how these complexities impact you.
I am an integrative and process focused therapist, and I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs. I believe therapy should be a safe space for one to explore significant and difficult experiences. This is why I prioritize building a trusting relationship. In therapy I focus on client’s patterns, provide and accept feedback, and facilitate skill building.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, and take into account the impact of race and gender. Areas of interest: Family of origin issues, interpersonal relationship difficulties, body image concerns, college and graduate school stress, identity exploration, and pregnancy/post-partum concerns.
