As a trauma therapist, I specialize in helping individuals and families process and heal from traumatic experiences. I can provide you with a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and thoughts related to trauma. I believe that anyone can overcome trauma if given a safe space to do so. In my career so far, it has been a joy to be able to witness resilience and healing in action. With dedication and perseverance, I believe you can get there too. I believe that a strong client/therapist relationship is a key building block in successful treatment.

Using various therapeutic techniques—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, or somatic experiencing— I will help you understand your trauma, manage symptoms like anxiety or depression, and develop coping strategies. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you to reclaim your life, improve your emotional well-being, and foster resilience.

I am a proud native of New York State, having lived both in Buffalo and New York City. I specialize in violence against women and children, LGBTQ issues, complex childhood trauma and the transition to adulthood regardless of immigration status.

I often use EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. During an EMDR session, I will help you focus on a specific traumatic memory, and as I do so, I will ask you to engage in bilateral stimulation. This aids in processing a traumatic memory, reducing its emotional charge. This can help you reframe your thoughts about trauma and lessen symptoms like anxiety or flashbacks.
