Helping clients understand themselves and digging into their relationships and struggles is the reason I am the therapist I am. Connecting with the people around us is hard-wired into our systems. Everyone deserves to feel connected, and I am passionate about helping my clients feel connected and confident in their lives and relationships. I find that a lack of connection can stem from a number of situations including miscommunication or a struggle to examine what the meaning behind their emotions is.
I work with people of all ages from elementary school, teenagers going through the struggles of high school, people in transitional phases, couples who are just starting out or even decades into their relationship. I use a combination of various therapeutic techniques including Gottman, EFT, Person-centered Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
I love to laugh with my clients as much as sitting in the hard emotions, and I am always interested in learning about what you love to do. I believe a counseling relationship is just as important as other relationships, so my therapy is informed by getting to know you and the mutual understanding and respect that we build over our time together.
