I offer empowered and embodied therapy for folks seeking to transform challenges and distress into a catalyst for healing. My approach is warm, real, relatable, and comes with a sense of humor. I don’t see therapy as a magic fix, but I believe your commitment to this work can reveal your innate wisdom and capacity for healing and recalibration, even amidst life’s biggest challenges. My intention is to help you build tools and trust in yourself so you can meet life with mindfulness and confidence, knowing therapy doesn’t need to last forever and you already carry what you need within. My work is trauma-informed and I am EMDR-trained.
I work from a psychodynamic and somatic lens that combines talk therapy with mind-body inquiry and education about how the brain, body, and nervous system affect emotions. This work helps folks find tools to understand emotional processes and capacity to be with discomfort. As the body can be a source of pain and oppression, I hold this work with great care.
