Therapy is a means to shed old narratives, and explore new ways of thinking & being in the world. Individuals & couples working with me are typically interested in healing from trauma, symptom relief/coping skills, engaging in self-discovery, and/or cultivating satisfying sexual relationships. I focus my work on treating sexual & religious trauma & working with LGBTQ+ populations on their journeys of identity discovery (yes, I work with cis/het folks too). Helping clients foster a deep sense of inner knowing is my passion. Currently offering therapy for clients in DC, VA, MD & TX.
An existential philosophy nerd with a decade of clinical trauma experience, I use evidence-based techniques to support clients in addressing their concerns. I am certified in trauma & transgender-related care, and trained in EMDR, CPT, and sex therapy (for individuals & couples). I offer a safe non-judgmental sex-positive environment. ENM/poly/kinky welcome!
Ultimately, I believe (1) humans are wired for connection; (2) shame is poison; & (3) self-knowledge is fundamental to building a life you actually want to show up for.
