Therapy should be a place you feel safe, supported and heard. My goal is to provide children, adolescents, college students and young adults with a comfortable space where we can work together and develop appropriate tools to feel confident and empowered in all phases of life! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a main specialty providing counseling to children, teens and young adults/ college students (roughly ages 5-30). I help my clients in managing struggles of anxiety, depression, trauma/ PTSD, college stressors, self esteem, relationship and interpersonal conflicts, and emotion regulation.
For children and teens understanding the many developmental stages of life is important. I believe they should have a positive, nonjudgmental space to express themselves through play, art, or simply talking through thoughts and feelings. Together, we will develop healthy tools for the child and their parents in order to gain confidence tackling big emotions.
Every individual has different needs, and that is why I practice a flexible and open-minded style of therapy in order to find what therapeutic approach is best for you.
