In virtual counseling, you will process your experiences, identify triggers, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, shift behaviors that no longer serve you, and strengthen effective communication skills. Our work may focus on concerns related to trauma, identity development, school and career stress, grief and loss, mood changes, impulsivity, life transitions, caretaking responsibilities, and stage-of-life challenges that impact mental health. I intentionally affirm and support clients who identify as BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered, strength-based, culturally responsive, and solution-focused approaches. We'll explore and better understand your internal experiences while identifying and applying practical mental and behavioral strategies to reduce symptoms and improve functioning,
I take a mind-body, solution-focused, goal-oriented, and short-term approach to support clients in processing their experiences, belief systems, thought patterns, and the societal influences that shape them. Your identities, lived experiences, and cultural context are respected and integrated into our work in meaningful and empowering ways.

Orientation to Therapy Models
This is a a guided educational experience for individuals who are curious about counseling or considering starting therapy. The goal is to empower you with knowledge so you can make informed decisions about your mental health care. In a supportive and low-pressure environment, participants will learn about a range of approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and more. Each session focuses on explaining how these methods work, what they typically address, and what you might expect if you were to engage in that type of therapy.
