About
Managing or eliminating sadness, difficult relationships, military life and its impact, uncontrollable worry, intrusive thoughts, work stress, family stressors, isolation, difficulty concentrating and little interest or pleasure in activities are reasons why clients come to me. They learn how to use solution-focused, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma informed care and cognitive behavioral to manage their difficulties. We will discuss the absence of a parent, the pressures of caretaking, the stress of balancing responsibilities, grief and loss, difficulty in interpersonal relationships, and more.
My clients learn emotional resilience, mood regulation, self-compassion, distress tolerance, learn how to relate to themselves and others in healthier ways and gain skills to manage their problems better. This means they are better equipped to manage depression, anxiety, relationships, self esteem, grief, transitions and more.
As we collaborate in therapy, my clients learn and implement skills and strategies that allow them to possibly improve their mood, decrease undesirable behaviors, improve their relationships and more.
