For as long as I can remember, human connection has been a passion and priority in my life. I have been working in the mental health field since 2017 and have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of populations including: young children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, premarital and marital couples, and families. I have experience working at different levels of care including outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient facilities. I work from a collaborative and systemic perspective considering all of the inter-moving parts that may be impacting what is going on and together, we decide on the best course of action.
Some of the modalities and techniques I use include: attachment-based therapies, motivational interviewing, person-centered, solution- focused, trauma-informed, and strength-based treatment. The issues I have the most experience working with are substance use, body dysmorphia, relationship distress, grief, trauma, and behavioral challenges.
Asking for help is immensely challenging, it requires extensive vulnerability and risk-taking.
