Hi! I’m Emma Hofman, a Master’s Level Clinical Intern at Leadlight Counseling and currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Theological Seminary. I work with adolescents and adults (13+) and especially enjoy walking alongside young adults and individuals navigating difficult life transitions, identity development, and seasons of uncertainty or change. I am passionate about helping clients cultivate greater self-awareness and understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their experiences.
My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, seen, and supported. I draw from person-centered, attachment-based, somatic, and polyvagal approaches to support healing, insight, and growth.
I believe counseling offers space to slow down, deepen self-awareness, and explore patterns with compassion. I receive ongoing supervision through the Holland Site Supervisor as part of my clinical training and feel honored to walk alongside clients wherever they may find themselves in their journey.
