Hi, I’m Emma Burrows, MA, LMFT (MFT-796). I am an expressive arts therapist and coach and I offer compassionate guidance and deep listening. My additional training and background in depth-oriented Sand play Therapy, yoga and Ayurveda, informs the holistic framework I bring to my work with clients. I enjoy co-creating space for meaning making and healing, working through stuck areas together, and developing creative tools for managing life's stressors. I bring a calm, compassionate, creative and non-judgmental approach to my work with individuals and families. I would describe my energy as grounded, gentle, supportive, and curious.
My work is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed, while utilizing expressive arts, body-based mindfulness techniques, a depth perspective, and the healing power of nature. I also believe that balancing the nervous system is essential to any healing. If we feel safe, we can do our deepest and most meaningful work.
My approach is to trust in your innate wisdom and offer gentle support and guidance along the way. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I honor and respect your ability to make the changes you are seeking. I am here to walk that path alongside you.
