Welcome! I'm Emily Widor, an LCSW and founder of Balanced Reflections, LLC. I help adults and children process trauma, break free from disturbing memories, and regain a sense of peace and empowerment, with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Trauma can feel overwhelming and isolating, but healing is possible. Whether you're struggling with PTSD, anxiety, or past experiences that continue to affect your present, I provide a compassionate and structured approach to help you move forward. I also work with individuals to help find balance and clarity in a stressful world.
I enjoy helping clients work through trauma and utilize EMDR to facilitate this process. I am EMDR trained by Paula F. Harry, MS LCSW through EMDR Consulting, an EMDRIA approved trainer. I utilize aspects of CBT with a humanistic approach to help clients with anxiety and depression related disorders if you are seeking more of a traditional talk therapy.
