Hi, I’m Emily Tien. I respond to every email inquiry I get and I will provide you with personalized referrals if I'm not a good fit. Finding a good therapist should not be as hard as it currently is and I would love to help. I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories and driven to make sense of them—including my own. Therapy has led me to seek answers about why we suffer and, more importantly, how we heal. I work with teens, adults, and couples, especially those dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, recovering from trauma, addressing phobias, and working to strengthen their sense of self.

I have an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, trained by an EMDRIA approved trainer) and am a certified Level II Restoration Therapist.
