Looking for someone who understands life’s challenges both personally and professionally? I’m Emily Stone, a counselor and mom of two (10 and 8), with a cat, Izzy, and a dog, Shelby, who sometimes join sessions. My passion for counseling began after witnessing loved ones find healing through therapy during struggles with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. I’ve worked in human services since undergrad and love helping others find hope and growth. Outside of work, I enjoy DIY projects, hiking, kayaking, camping, and creating a home full of warmth, joy, and connection.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy tackling DIY projects to create a home that reflects our values and gives my kids a space to be proud of. I love looking at things for their potential, seeing beyond what they are to what they could be. As a family, we enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, beach outings, and spending time with friends who feel like family.
