I'm Emily Stone, a mother of two (ages 10 and 8) and pet parent to our cat, Izzy, and dog, Shelby—who sometimes like to make appearances during my sessions! I've worked in human services since my undergraduate days, but my journey into counseling began when I witnessed family members struggle with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. Watching them build meaningful connections with therapists who made a significant difference in their lives was a turning point for me.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy tackling DIY projects to create a home that reflects our values and gives my kids a space to be proud of. I love looking at things for their potential, seeing beyond what they are to what they could be. As a family, we enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, beach outings, and spending time with friends who feel like family.
