About

Dr. Stano provides individual, family, & group therapy services to children & teens as well as psychological assessment services to patients of all ages. Her specialties include working with children & teens experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, challenging relationships, identity issues, & health conditions. She works with families to navigate parenting concerns, stressful relationships, and significant life changes. She is an identity-affirming clinician who works with people of diverse backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, religion, culture, ability, sexual orientation, & gender.
Dr. Stano uses techniques from several evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, FFT, IPT, & play therapy. Her goal is to help people learn skills to better navigate their current struggles & become more effective problem solvers in the future. She offers assessment for diagnostic clarification & pre-surgical clearance.
Dr. Stano generally responds to emails and voicemails within 48 hours Monday-Friday. Although she uses an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant email service, please keep in mind that all communication over the internet can potentially be intercepted. Dr. Stano is fully vaccinated; providing in-person (face mask required) & virtual services following CDC guidelines.
