Are you anxious and struggling with motherhood? Perhaps something happened during your pregnancy or birth that you can't stop thinking about. My name is Emily; I'm a licensed professional counselor and certified EMDR therapist. I help moms heal from difficult and traumatic birth experiences and find themselves in motherhood. I've been a counselor for almost 15 years and practice from a psychodynamic and trauma-informed lens. I understand the impact of trauma, significant life events, and childhood relationships and how these things impact a person's view of themselves and the world around them.
As a mom myself, I get it. I understand how difficult it is to ask for help during this season of life. It seems easier to pretend like everything is okay, but at some point, pretending stops working and you might find yourself disconnected and distant from yourself and everyone else.
