Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Emily, I am a therapist that specializes in trauma, addiction, and healing work. I aim to be a place of safety, guidance, and support for anyone who is seeking to experience more joy and connection in life. As an interracial adoptee and body of culture myself, I recognize the extreme harm that systemic racism has on communities and bodies of color/culture. I believe in communal healing.
My clinical expertise includes treating the effects of trauma, healing from substance abuse, identifying intersecting identities, and building a connection between an individual and their body. I have a strong passion for somatic work and Brainspotting; using focused eye positions to locate emotional distress in the body and allows for contained processing.
I truly love the work that I do and feel honored to be a part of the journey. I am so grateful to be able to serve my community and witness transformation and healing daily.
