I have experience providing therapy in both school-based and community settings, and I approach my work from a client-centered, strengths-based perspective. I’ve worked closely with children and teens facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional and behavioral concerns, learning differences, and relationship difficulties. My work with children is grounded in play therapy and Gestalt therapy for children and adolescents, often referred to as the Oaklander Model.
I am EMDR trained, including EMDR with children, and I integrate this approach when appropriate. I also draw from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ERP, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused therapy. I strive to help clients build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
