Congratulations on taking steps to create a new path for yourself and thank you for visiting my profile page! My goal is to provide you with a comfortable space to explore challenges, thoughts, and feelings in order to heal. My background includes working in the mental health field for over 20 years in various capacities including in homes, schools, and outpatient community mental health settings.
I work with individuals 12 years old through adulthood. My therapeutic interests and specialties include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), trauma work with the use of TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy), anxiety, depression, grief, and relationships. I also often will use mindfulness in my practice.
My education includes securing my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hanover College and my Master’s Degree in counseling from Indiana University. Beyond that, I have completed additional advanced coursework in counseling also at IU. I currently live in the Indianapolis area and spend a lot of my down time practicing yoga, jogging, and baking.
