About
There are times in life when we simply feel "stuck". Despite how bleak things may seem, there is always reason to hope for change. As a strengths-based therapist, I assume my clients are caring and capable. My purposeful questions and Brainspotting techniques help clients connect with their best selves, allowing them to unlock solutions to the challenges they face. I work with adults, couples and teens around such challenges as: psychological barriers to healthy lifestyles, relationship difficulties, infidelity & divorce, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, parenting, impulsive behavior, binge eating, weight loss, and chronic pain.
I specialize in helping individuals transform their relationships in powerful ways! It takes a 'system' to create a problem, but it takes only one person to change the system. I offer expertise to help improve marriages (even if only one person is willing to work on it!). I also provide support and skills to navigate the stress of infidelity or divorce.
My past career as a fitness trainer informs my interest in both physical and mental health. My second specialty is in 'Wellness Coaching', wherein I use positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and solution-oriented therapy, to help clients overcome self-doubt, bad habits & low motivation, to help them achieve optimal health, fitness, or weight loss.
