As a queer, latinx therapist, I understand the unique experiences and obstacles faced by LGBTQ+ people of color. I work alongside clients, exploring their strengths, resilience, and finding ways to build a fulfilling life that aligns with their values and authentic self, rather than the version of themselves they've had to become to conform to the pressures of the world around them. I strive to empower clients to increase their sense of safety and connection to themselves, their bodies and the difficult systems they navigate.
I aim to create a secure and compassionate space for healing marginalized, oppressed communities. I am passionate about anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices, and the liberation of queer and trans identities.
My approach to therapy focuses on a somatic and internal family systems lens, emphasizing the humanness of experiences, growth in discovering parts of the self and helping clients lean into their emotions through the felt sense of their bodies. I feel honored to delve into clients' stories, witnessing the vulnerability and bravery of their journeys.
