About
As a psychologist, I assist clients in working through many difficult life events, mental health disorders, and general day to day struggles. I primarily focus on adults and adolescents with a variety of concerns including adjustment issues, depression and anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, OCD, gender/sexuality issues, and couples/marital issues. I am experienced and trained in several specific psychological modalities including CBT, DBT, interpersonal process therapy, psychodynamic therapy, psychodramatic techniques, and EMDR. My clients enjoy my sense of humor, authenticity, and passion for my work.
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders (Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, atypical anorexia, and other feeding/eating disorders), trauma, anxiety, and compulsive disorders. I offer a multi-faceted approach including talk therapy, experiential therapy, mindfulness based therapy, and EMDR.
Reaching out for help, and admitting we can’t get through something alone is hard. It can be painful to realize we are carrying more than we can handle, and that we’ve been carrying it far too long. Everyone needs help sometimes. I hope to be there for you, walk with you in whatever you’re struggling with, and help you move toward a place of wellbeing.
