I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families affected by trauma, relationship challenges, and/or eating disorders/food and body issues. Many of my clients are looking for healing around stressful or traumatic life experiences that have led to brilliant but sometimes "stuck" survival strategies. Others are seeking to find peace and freedom with food and body struggles. Some may be struggling with relationships, communication, and boundaries. Though these are my areas of expertise, I work with a wide variety of clients and needs and am happy to explore if I am the right fit for you.
I come from a Health at Every Size/non-diet/Intuitive Eating approach and provide support to individuals or loved ones affected by disordered eating, body image difficulties, and diet culture. Additionally, I use somatic/body-based approaches and "parts work" to address trauma and attachment issues.
As a retired dancer, dance instructor, and choreographer, I understand the stress and pressures of being an athlete and enjoy working with dancers and athletes, past or present, around issues that arise in those circles.
