My goal is to work with folks collaboratively through life transitions and struggles in relationships and careers towards greater peace, self acceptance and alignment with one's own goals. I have experience working primarily with anxiety and depression, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and disordered eating/ eating disorders. Additionally, my background in immigration advocacy increased my understanding of the unique challenges faced by immigrants and first-generation Americans.
I practice primarily with a patient centered, compassion focused style, where you are the driver and I'm riding shotgun. I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the Health at Every Size framework. Finally, I pay special attention to how institutions, culture and organizations impact our well-being.
