I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety, mood disorders, and difficulties with life transitions. I approach therapy with empathy and respect and facilitate an environment that is supportive and nonjudgmental. In addition to therapy, I also complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
I completed a two-year fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, including rotations in Substance Use Prevention and Treatment and the Pain Medicine Clinic. I also have experience in both outpatient and residential settings with children, adolescents, and adults
I use a collaborative approach to understand my clients’ needs and strengths and work to foster hope and resiliency in therapy sessions. My goal is to help clients build awareness regarding how their unique history impacts them in the present day while also helping them to build coping skills to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
