I have worked in the mental health field since 2019 and have a strong background in assessment as well DBT, CBT, and EMDR. I primarily work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and BPD. For me, the focus of behavioral health treatment is balancing between acceptance and change - working hard together to embrace the things we cannot control, and problem-solve the things that we can. In addition to processing, cognitive reframing, and challenging thoughts, I place a strong value in skills-based psycho-education. So if you are looking to enhance your tool-belt of coping skills, I may be the right fit for you!
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Adolescent and Adult Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ASAM, and Motivational Interviewing. During treatment, I utilize many tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused treatment, and Mindfulness.
